The Sweet Seattle Wedding Show

This past weekend was a big one here at The SweetSide. We attended our first Seattle Wedding Show and had a blast! We handed out more than 1700 samples of cake, talked to hundreds of brides (and some grooms too!) and met some really great peeps from the Seattle wedding community.

I am so excited about the new projects and collaborations coming our way, but for now, I am going to highlight cakes and desserts we made for the show...

We will start with our Button Ruffle Cake.. a mostly all white cake with a buttercream texture not seen by most people. We decided to add gumpaste buttons to make it just a little more quirky and show brides an example of how they could pull some of their favorite  wedding design elements into their cake.
